As P662F, but designed for FAILSAFE application, ie. in the event of a power failure the release is left in the open position. Since the lock release is open when the power is off, it requires a continuous supply voltage for it to
remain locked as an interruption to the supply voltage releases the mechanism. Can be connected directly to FAILSAFE output of Eagle Access Control systems. However, a 12Vdc power supply (P632Z) and relay (P600T)
are required when fitted to AC door entry telephone systems. Not recommended for use with fire exit doors.
